 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: February 17th 1995
Likes: her mommy!, tiny little tithes when I have dessert, her beauty rest, playing in the snow

Pet-Peeves: having someone wake her up too early in the morning

Favorite Toy: whatever is new or is being played with by someone else

Favorite Food: chocolate (only a smidge of cake- don't worry), apples, lettuce, carrots, dog treats

Favorite Walk: strutting around on her second-story deck and keeping an eye on her property

Best Tricks: looking adorable, nose-twitching, the Cami dance, verbalizing to make her feelings known

Arrival Story: Cami and her older sister, a "Yorkie" who was really an Australian Terrier, were rescued from an abusive home. While once dearly loved, pampered, and doted on, they were treated very badly after their former owners had a child.

Bio: We call Cami our cashmere dog. She has a coat that just won't quit. We are constantly thinning and trimming and have even taken to giving her a puppy cut on her face. She has more hair than any of our previous Yorkies in over 30 years!

Forums Motto: If I saw it- it's mine!

Chamomile crossed to the Rainbow Bridge 9/16/10. Cami was 15 years, 7 months- and she spent all but 3 of those years with us.
It was a difficult year for all of us. After being diagnosed with kidney failure she made a remarkable comeback [home cooked and RC renal diet, renal meds, and sub Q fluids daily] and we actually got her once sky high kidney lab tests results back down to the normal range only to lose her to heart failure.
Because she waa too weak to get on the bed she spent her time in a special "spoiled" bed near us, and the last photos of her are in that bed, and in the kitchen bed, with little sister Olive saying goodbye. We hope she is romping with Pekoe, the older sister we adopted her with [who passed in 2004.] We are thankful for all the good years and the wonderful memories we have of our dear Cami.

Another year, and a big 14th birthday celebration. Wow, the years do fly. I remember when I was just a little girl and I ran and played all the time. Now I check out the toys my little sisters are playing with, but I really am not interested in them- though I could still claim them as mine if I wanted to!
I must admit the new kid, Gemma, didn't need as much training as Olive. She is calmer and doesn't pounce on me. In fact I kind of like hanging out with the two of them, and I even use their kennel for naps sometimes. We all snuggle on the bed too, and if they are awake when I need to rest I just take one of their soft toys for a pillow. They are very small, but with their hair growing in, I must say they are very pretty now.

I haven't written in a long time because I have been busy training Olive, who did end up looking pretty good after all. She kept trying to "herd" me, but she is finally calming down a little. Since Olive enjoys traveling (I don't see what is so great about it) she goes shopping and to the office with Mom- so I get some peace and quiet. Or I did... but now they have brought another little furball into the family! Oh well, this one is quieter and calmer, so she is not so bad. And when she wants to play rambunctiously- she jumps on Olive!
