Pet-Peeves:
Snowy didnt like the outside world.

Arrival Story:
i found snowy tied to a fence while i was driving in the streets of NY i approched her and seen she was a timid dog i then rushed her to my vet she had a few problems , like mange, she had to have eye surgery 2 times. when i found her she was about a year and a half. she turned out to be such a loving dog . she was afraid of the outside world. she felt safe in my back yard and on the stoop but any further than that she was petrified. she was 63 pounds when i found her slowly she gained weight i got her to 116 pounds. she was such a beautiful dog. about 6 months later i adopted Oreo and Snowy learned so much from her she came out of her shell. she coppied oreo, she learned how to play with the toy rope, learned how to bark, she learned how to play like a dog. as time went by she would always have these skin infections she was always on antibiotics. finally my vet told me to go see a skin specialist. So i took her to the specialist and they did a skin biopsy and she had -sebaceous adenitis. i tried the Michael Rampak treatment it did work but it was very very time consuing and very messy so i turned to the medication that the specialist recommended that also worked, but was about $400.00 a month. then one day She had hurt her leg , i didnt know how she did it and at 116 pounds it was impossible for me to pick her up. with some help i took her to my vet he looked her over and wanted to do ex-rays, give her cortizone shots i broke down in tears , i had to make the hardest decission i ever had to do. I financially couldnt run any tests for her , I was a single women living alone taking care of 2 dogs and already paying $400 on meds for snowy. I decided i had to put her down. that was the hardest thing i have ever done. and i wish i never have to feel that pain again. but i do know that my Snowy is in peace now and comfortabloe in her own skin.
