Arrival Story:
Came in just after 9/11, he belonged to a policeman whose family could not keep him after he didn't get along with their German Shepherd and nipped a child trying to stop a fight. At that time, applications for older dogs were few. So eventually he just melted into our family of three other westies.
Bio:
This older gentleman is a joy. The friendliest of all my dogs ...goes up to everyone to be pet. Thrives on attention. Just wants to be with someone. And his tail only stops wagging when he is deep in sleep. And he can sleep...as he is nearly deaf and doesn't see too well, either. I lost my dear boy in April 2005. He was diagnosed with a tumor on his spine and he was gone within six weeks. He was a darling boy and is missed. We had him such a short time, but it was a wonderful time.
