Arrival Story:
We had been looking for a puppy through the newspaper for months. Finally we found a litter. They were > 1hr away and we drove there at night. When we got to the house, it was a mobile home with stuff stacked up everywhere, barely a path to get into the house. They had no running water, just a hose from the neighbor taped in through the kitchen window. They had a massive rottweiler in an old-style wooden dog crate in the living room, and the puppies in another. They let the pups out, and they all proceeded to pee and poop all over the carpet. :O We picked CoCo. She was alert but calm, friendly and such a pretty chocolate color. She cried the whole drive home, and stunk so bad I was nauseated the whole way, too! We gave her a bath, warmed her up and she slept all night long. She was the easiest pup to housetrain and she's still my baby!
Bio:
Her mom was a small black lab x, and the mom's owners thought that the father was a german shorthair pointer. We don't see that in CoCo at all.
