Arrival Story:
I was a baby when my parents and brother went to the shelter to see about getting a dog. Mitzi had been dropped over the back fence of the pound because some coward didn't want to bring her in...as a result she had arthritis most of her adult life. My parents and my brother and I came it and it was apparently the day she was going to be put to sleep if she didn't get a home. We went all through the dogs and my brother(two at the time) pointed at her and said: "I want that one!" The rest is history. She was eventually put down when she was fifteen because she was in so much pain with her legs. She was very loved and lived a full life. I miss her still to this day.
