My mum read a good book

Its a funny book about a man and his adventures with his dog Barney. It's called 'Shakespeare my Butt' and someone called John Donoghue wrote it.

My mummy kept laughing at it. She has lent it to lots of her friends and they liked it too! You can read reviews and see video and photos of Barney and other things in the book if you go to this website. http://marsupialelvis.com//

I never meant to but I was playing in the garden with my mummy and she was ignoring me. She stopped throwing the ball for me and was tidying up and talking to the man next door. it was boring and there was this little hole under the fence. After a tiny bit of digging (and I can really dig) I was through.

On the other side I found Jay who is six. He played with me for a while until his mummy came out and raised the alarm.

My mummy was cross at first but she still gave me a cuddle and now she has blocked the hole with a rock.
