He loved his walks, and he loved water, any pond or river would do. He loved our cats aswell, they washed him endlessly, adored having his head and ears tickled.

Nail Clipping, other dogs in his space.

Bones, he loved those.

Anywhere where there was water.

Being the best behaved dog in the world ever, well we think so.
Arrival Story:
We got Max when he was about 6 years old, he was in a local dogs home so we snapped him up, he was our first dog and we got him to keep our first cat "Socks" company, he apparently was a ex-farm and hunting dog, and was apparently famed for being able to bring a deer down in his younger years, well that side if his life certainly ended when he came to us, but he soon adjusted to home and family life.
Bio:
Max was simply a lovely dog, who had a good life doing all the things that dogs love doing, he was blessed with good health (although he put on alot of weight when he got older, thats why its hard to believe by the picture that he was actually a LURCHER!!! crossbreed), but he rearly needed to see the vet, we had him for approx 8 years, untill 2003 when he was 14, but then he had to be put to sleep due to his body and water works giving up on him, he was put to sleep at home and he died as he had lived, bravely and with dignity, and with the taste of one of his favourite things in his mouth, A CHOCIE BISCUIT, although he's been gone awhile now he's still with us in our hearts, and we have a nice picture of him on the wall in our living room so he can keep an eye on us, he will never be forgotten, he now as a special place in our garden with "Lady", his special friend. "You's a good boy Max"
