 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: January 28th 2004
Likes: Sleeping under my desk chair, running in the courtyard, belly rubs, when Daddy comes home, sunbathing in the window, "stalking her prey"

Pet-Peeves: Being touched while she is sleeping, being physically confined from her people, being left alone

Favorite Toy: an incredibly stupid looking stuffed frog, a green bone and a panda bear that plays music (and gets her all tweaked out when she sets off the music). And Daddy's socks.

Favorite Food: Cesar Filet Mignon or Lamb flavors and grape Starburst jellybeans

Favorite Walk: Anywhere she is allowed to run

Best Tricks: She does the happy dance when she is being ignored- she looks like a circus dog twirling around. She also knows sit, lay down and play dead. And she is trained to use a litter box (best trick of all, LOL)

Arrival Story: Sophie was the second born of a litter of three pups born to my grandmother's poodle- Mitzy. We originally chose the third born from that litter but as the pups grew it became obvious that Sophie and Shawn had a strong attachment. At one point, she climbed in his lap and licked his nose and that was the end of it. Up until then, she had been called Lil Bit (because she was the smallest) but that day she became Sophie and stole our hearts forever ;-) We were there the night they were born and got to watch as they all grew bigger, ate solid food and developed personalities. It was amazing. She is still half the size of her littermates but we swear she is the smartest ;-)

Bio: Sophie was 7 weeks old and weighed under a pound when she was brought home. She cried and cried the first night when we put her in the kitchen to sleep and eventually Shawn went and got her and brought her to our bed. We fed her warm milk from a baby bottle and she slept on his pillow, cuddled up to his cheek. She weighs 4.5 lbs now and is too big for sleeping on the pillow but she snuggles in between our pillows and lays her head next to his. Sophie has become such an integral part of our lives since then that we can't imagine living without her.
