My Wonderful Day!!!

I am so proud to be picked as Dog og the Day. I want to thank all my pals for the lovely gifts. Mom will get to each one as soon as she can for me.
I spent the day relaxing with my Dad. We watched TV.
This has been a really cool day for me!!
It is so wonderful to have so many friends!!!!

My EKG was normal. No arrythmias. My blood work is good too. I have so stay on the water pills and blood pressure pills and the cardiac diet. Sometimes I start panting when I am just resting.
The Vet said he has a couple of different anesthesias he can try for my teeth cleaning. On a scale of one to ten for risk I am a 7. Mom knows my teeth need to be done but she is kinda scared too. She hasn't decided when yet.

There is no way to tell how long it will be before I go to the bridge . But with diet and medication I will be comfortable and have some more time.
Once again I love all of you for your support and prayers.

I am so proud to have so many wonderful and caring friends. I can't thank everyone enough for all the prayers and the gifts on my page. I want all of you to know I love you very much!

My lab work came back almost perfect. My hemoglobin was a little tiny high but not enough that the Dr was worried. He was glad that it was so good. My ECG (EKG) won't be back until tommorrow. They will call mom. The dogter thought I looked better because my tongue was not as purple as it was Friday. When I pant during stress or play my tongue was turning purple because my heart does not beat as effectively to move the oxygen to my body. The medicine is helping my heart function a little better. So Mom has to keep giving my medicine all the time.
If the ECG comes back OK then I can get my teeth cleaned. Dogter said he would use a different anesthesia and I have to have an IV.

Some news

My Mom and Dad were talking about how old I am. When they found me the dogter estimated that I was about 5 years old. Well..my Mom got so used to telling everyone that I was around 6 or maybe 8 that she did not even think about what year it was when they found me. When Dad told here it was 2002 she figured out that she had missed a couple of years (DUH!)
and I am really about 10.
The reason this all came about was that I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. I now take medications and I am on a cardiac diet. The food only comes in a can and it is very tasty. I have to go on Monday for lab work and and EKG. This way the dogter can tell if I have any other problems. Then with medical clearance I can get my teeth cleaned again.
Mom wishes I could reach the toilet because now I wee wee more than ever and I have to go get her take me out. Now if I was as bad as my brother, I would just use the throw rug or the floor. But I am a good boy. This week is the first week we will be home alone because Grandma has gone visiting back in Virginia and will not be back for a few months. We really miss her already and so does Mom.

Today I had a bath. I do not like a bath and I dislike the blow dryer even more. Mom puts me on top of the washer to dry me. That way I can't run. I always try to run if I even suspect I am getting a bath. Today I even had pictures taken. It was terrible. I wish some pup would come up with an idea of how I can get out of taking a bath.

My what a busy week it has been and we are only halfway through the week.
My pal Wilson has gotten himself into a mess again. Right now I am worried because no one has seen him. He got locked into the Dream House the other day (accidently) and he was ganged up on by the girls (they wanted kisses) so he had no choice but to jump through the window to escape. He's been on his bike and on the run for several days now. I sure hope to hear from him soon.
Unfortunately we had a scare and a bit of sad news as our friend Tater and his family lost their home to a fire. We were all very relieved and grateful that they are all safe.
Things have been slow at the Bunker since the girls moved in across the yard into the Dream House that Webster,Ringo, Dusty, Otis,Wilson, Cletis,Tater, Clyde and I built for them. Right now we are all trying to come up with an idea of how to get the window repaired at little cost. Pics of the damage can be seen on the Girls Dream House page.
Hopefully we will come with an idea by the end of the week.

Not Again

Dusty came to tell us that the Bunker had been invaded by girls again. We could smell the perfume so we decided to venture out ......naked as we are.......and check the perimeter. We could hear some giggles and we could smell the perfume but we never found them. Otis kept getting turned in the wrong direction and I had to lead the search. (new pics)
We know they are nearby and we hope we can get on the boat tonight and head out before they realize where we are.

Friday Night

What a pawty we has last night. We were invaded by a girl. (Sassy). I think she is kinda cute but poor Wilson was beside himself. She has threatened to sneak up on him and put him in a pink tutu. We will all have to watch over him. Then she gave everyone kisses.
Saturday was fun. It was terribly hot but Otis and I played in the pool for while. Then Mom and Dad decided we had to have a bath. It was terrible!!! But Mom said we could not go one more night with marshmallow stuck all over our faces. We had so many of them at the pawty we were stuffed. Webster's Mom made us some peanut butter ones and they were the best I have ever had. Otis was so excited as he really loves peanut butter. We are hoping to boating and fishin next pawty and with Cherry watching over us and Dusty helping Ringo with security we should have a great time. I hope Cletis, Spuds, and Tucker don't get seasick.

Diggin aPool

Today was a really busy day forme. I helped Otis and Clyde diggin a pool for the bunker. It was rough. Clyde digs faster and with Otis and I trying to keep up ....................our doggie butts were kicked. I do not know if it will be ready for a party tonight. It may take another week. Wegster was right about those roots. They are hard to chew thru............good thing we had Clyde there.

Bunker Time

This is the greatest hide out!!! My brother has got me thinking about fun things to do with the guys at the bunker. He's busy chasing lizards to catch for for us to have lizard races. Wilson is getting the marshmallows for roasting and we hope Clyde (ID# 460183) is at Walmart getting the pupsi and other snacks for us. I think I'll take a nap until time to go to the party. No need to work if I don't have to. HAHA
I'm no fool!!!!
