My Gotcha Day

Today is the fourth anniversary of my Gotcha Day! To celebrate my Mommie took me for a ride in the car WITHOUT GRETTA, and we went to Complete Petmart to buy treats. I tried to steal two different rawhide sticks. The first one was BIG and Mom saw it right away. Then I got smart. I picked out a little one that only stuck out a little ways from both sides of my mouth. I almost got out of the store with that one. BOL!
Then we went to Perry Park for a victory lap around the park. What fun!

Ode To My Dear Friend Duncan

I love being friends with you. You always make me smile, even after an especially harrowing day of guarding the house and waiting to be fed. By four o'clock the suspense is killing me. Will my family return to me? Will I be able to go for a walk without getting rained upon? But, most importantly, will somebody open the hall closet, measure out my meager allowance of kibble, and eventually FEED ME? The suspense would be amost more than a delicately bred schnauzette like me could stand, if it were not for pals like you. I don't say this to many animals of the male persuasion (with a straight face), but, Duncan my friend, you are the best!!!
