 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: December 31st 1995
Likes: Going outside and playing catch/fetch, going to see Abbie, sitting by the front door, sleeping under the covers, dog treats, riding in the car with her head out the window

Pet-Peeves: vacuum cleaners, dogs in our yard, watching her owner pet another dog, being left home alone especially if I forget to turn the tv on for her, not visiting her best friend Abbie's house for a few days, getting a toy ball stuck under the dresser or chair

Favorite Toy: a ball that lights up when it is touched

Favorite Food: whatever happens to be on the plate she is closest to

Favorite Walk: just outside the house

Best Tricks: catching balls thrown to her, dangling in the air holding on to a frisbee, playing hockey (she takes a dog bone and uses it to hit her lighted ball around the house)

Arrival Story: I was going to a breeder's house to look at some rat terriers because this was going to be my first dog and they were much cheaper. When I got there, we went to the shed to see the dogs, and this particular dog was standing alone in a cage and jumped up to see me. She was so tiny and so cute. Even though she cost much more than the other dogs, I knew that I had to take her home.

Bio: When I first got her, I went a few days before I could think up a good name for her. I was in the kitchen and noticed a package of "pecan sandies" cookies on the counter. I decided then to name her Sandie because of the tan spot on her back and the color of her face.
Sandie is the most active dog I have ever been around. She thinks every move you make is the start of a game. Since she is an inside dog, I do have to take her outside and play catch alot to keep her satisfied. It is sometimes a chore to take her out because she thinks she is alot bigger than she is. She will stand up to any dog in the neighborhood. She turned out to be an excellent watch dog though. I once had a squirrel in my house at 2:00 in the morning and she sniffed it out while I was in bed. She aided in chasing it out the front door. She is definitely a great dog.
