Gotcha Date: August 20th 2005 Birthday: October 7th 2003 Likes: Being with the family. Playing with Emmett or Mia. I love my new brother Dragon, we roughhouse all the time! Pet-Peeves: Dinner being served LATE! Favorite Food: All food! Especially chicken jerkey, freeze dried liver, & homemade dog biscuits. I eat Wellness Core Ocean Variety dog food for my main diet. I have plain yogurt added in the morning and cottage cheese w/veggies in the evening. I love to eat! Favorite Walk: Anywhere Best Tricks: Sit, Shake, Come, Down, Stay! Just received his CGC! Arrival Story: We were staying with family when I received a call from the animal control center we adopted Mia from. They received a very shy owner turn in and asked if I was interested. I initially said No because we had 4 dogs already, but they asked if I would at least take him over the weekend so he wouldn't have to be so scared at the shelter. I agreed and by Monday I called to tell them I'd be signing the adoption papers later in the week. Bio: Teddy is a great dog. I don't think he was socialized much by his previous owners and he was very shy but never aggressive. He attended a wallflower class and has since graduated to level 4 in his training classes. He is food motivated and that is a great plus in helping him overcome his shyness. Teddy has greatly improved. He has even started to enjoy going to small dog playgroups on Saturdays. We are hoping Teddy will test and pass his CGC this summer. I hope everyone will consider a rescued dog or cat and please spay or neuter to reduce the number of unwanted pets each year. Just an update! On 6-27-07 Teddy passed his CGC test! We are so proud of his progress!! Forums Motto: I'm invisible! My appetite is back! Mom is so happy to see me excited about eating again. Still a little tummy troubles, but I am finally feeling good again.
Thank you all so very much for all the thoughts, prayers, and the power of the paw. I'm happy to report it worked. Now, to just figure out why this is happening.......
So day two and I'm still not feeling great. I didn't eat breakfast but I did eat a little at lunch. Diarrhea set in just to make matters worse, but we expected it to follow since this seems to be the same thing that happened to me last winter.
I am a bit better though and taking my meds. Still sleepy and resting a lot but my tail is curled over my back and I'm moving around better.
All in all, I guess this is a slow start to recovery. I expect to be back to normal in a couple days.
