I am sorry for your loss of "Rhett". What a privilege to have him for the years that you did. I put my golden retriever down later yesterday afternoon (Sept 7) because the suspect tumour had grown 5x its size in 6 weeks. He was getting lame, and had been in pain for many months. "Utah", my golden, had 2 terms of service as an assistance animal, and filled my life with joy, laughter and boundless love~!
