Nicky was groomed yesterday

Nicky is now seventeen months old and yesterday he went for his first real westie cut. He was groomed twice before but never had the westie cut that makes the westies unique. When I went to Petco to pick him up he was barking so loud that you could hear him all around the store. I had to rush and pay to get him out of the crate where he was waiting. He looks so cute now, just like the show dogs I saw a few months ago when we went to the dog show. Since he was groomed I felt sorry for leaving him alone a few hours and he got two new toys yesterday. He likes plastic toys that make loud noises and that's what I got for him.

Sleeping on the sofa

Last night Nicky found out that I was sleeping on the sofa because it was too warm for me in the room Heaters give me a headache, Nicky was crying in the family room where he sleeps and I decided the only way for me to sleep is to let him sleep with me. The little rascal went to sleep on my feet and this morning he did not even make an attempt to get out of bed for his morning baatroom outing. I hope Nicky will go to sleep tonight next to Fiona's bed in the cozy family room and let me sleep next to my husband.

Too cold to go out

This morning it was so cold that Nicky did not want to walk around like he usually does. He insisted on going back home and testing his favorite breakfast "yogurt" before the morning meal.

Nickys new toy

Today Nicky and Fiona got a new rope toy, Nicky took the toy and ran fast away from Fiona. The new toy is the center of attention at least until tomorrow. Both puppies got a new lime color blanket. Nicky is using his blanket as a toy and is having a good time fighting with the blanket.

Monday walk around the neighborhood

Today Nicky and Fiona walked together around the neighborhood, usually Fiona goes for the short walk while Nicky continues his walk with my husband. When we got back Nicky was tired but not as tired as little Fiona. After a few minutes he was barking to go for another walk.
Nicky is very happy with his new blue baby blanket that I bought for him yesterday. He's sleeping very confortable on his blanket.
