I only give him one for a treat once in a while. Favorite Walk: He likes to walk around the neighborhood especially if we take him around the golf course. This little dog enjoys a walk more than the other two dogs. Best Tricks: Nicky will pose for pictures anytime I ask him to pose, he loves to have his picture taken. Arrival Story: We wanted a friend for Fiona the little cairn I have, we almost adopted another cairn but the owner decided to keep the dog , we were very sad because we could not adopt the little cairn called Charlie from the Lost Angels Rescue. My daughter started to call many places looking for a companion for Fiona. Finally we found Nicky (a westie) a few months older than Fiona and also a bit bigger in size. After we saw the little dog it was hard not to take him home. We got Nicky and took him home to meet Fiona, as soon as the two puppies saw each other they started running around the living room trying to catch each other, it was clear that they truly liked each other's company and now they are together all the time. Bio: Nicky is the most loving gentle dog I had since my first Nicky. Nicky is a very smart dog, and a very quick learner. The only problem is that he suffers from separation anxiety, he will start barking and having a fit when left alone in the room, even if the other two dogs are next to him. This dog is the love of my life...I love him dearly.... Nicky is now seventeen months old and yesterday he went for his first real westie cut. He was groomed twice before but never had the westie cut that makes the westies unique. When I went to Petco to pick him up he was barking so loud that you could hear him all around the store. I had to rush and pay to get him out of the crate where he was waiting. He looks so cute now, just like the show dogs I saw a few months ago when we went to the dog show. Since he was groomed I felt sorry for leaving him alone a few hours and he got two new toys yesterday. He likes plastic toys that make loud noises and that's what I got for him.
