I limped home yesterday with my front right leg in pain. Mommy thinks maybe I got kicked by a cow, since I really like to hang out in the cow pasture. Sometimes I get a little too close to the calves, and the mommy cows get protective. So, I sent last night on the couch getting lots of love, attention, treats, and a couple of baby aspirin. This morning, Mommy helped me limp outside to go potty, and then she gave me some more baby aspirin, put my big fluffy pillow in front of the fireplace and started a fire. This is definitely my favorite place to sleep when it's cold outside!

Once I was settled in, Mommy logged onto the computer to read her mail. She stuck her head around the side of her computer screen and told me Chrissy had given me a Rosette ... a heart with an arrow through it. I sure think that Chrissy is a cutie! I got excited and limped my way over to sit next to Mommy while she told me more about Chrissy and showed me her picture again. Chrissy even has the most adorable little video on her blog. But then, my little doggy heart felt the tiniest twinge of pain ... it would appear the Chrissy already has a Valentine!

I tucked my tail between my legs, limped back over to my pillow in front of the fireplace, sulked for just a few minutes, ... and then Mommy promised she'd help me find a Valentine in time! YAY!

I'll be spending the rest of my day getting lots of special attention, being fed by hand from Mommy, laying in front of the fire, and dreaming of that special Valentine. Will YOU be my Valentine?
