He loved his doggy brother (Chaucer) and his Border Collie girlfriend who lives next door (Rosie), and giving all the rescue kittens a puppy dog tongue bath

His babydoll I carried around with him everywhere ... even outside, sister's socks, any squeeky toy, and the tug-of-war rope

Born July 21sto of 2005
Son of Nick
Brother of Zoe
Given to us at Christmas in 2005
By David L. and Becca Walker
Taken from us in the early morning hours of
Friday, July 20th, 2006, peacefully in his sleep
Lain to rest at the edge of our property, facing Jeff and Diane's, so he may forever watch over his beloved, Rosie.

I remember seeing those huge, bigger-than-life sized stuffed animals in all the big toy stores. I was mesmerized by them. Imagine one of THOSE beautiful creatures coming to life! So, with my eyes closed, holding my breath, and wishing with all my might, I'd blow as hard as I could to extinguish every last birthday candle ... and make a wish. I made sure I never told ANYONE what I wished for. My wish finally came true when I was 42, and I'd given up that silly old birthday ritual. My father-in-law gave me Zack!

He was huge, soft, fluffy, happy, willing to do anything I asked of him, extremely devoted to our family, always ready to give kisses, lay his head on your knee, and roll over on his back when anyone walked by - just in case they might want to reach down and give him a little belly rub. He loved his brothers, Chaucer and Pepper. He liked to chase his kitties, Caffie and Maggie. And when I fostered 16 kittens at one time, he was naturally curious, and amazingly gentle.

I'll never forget the first time I fed you a piece of cheese in New Mexico. Brittany thought you were having some kind of little puppy seizure. We soon found out that you'd make your teeth chatter after you ate something you really liked. That always made me laugh, and you'd of course get more of whatever you loved so much.

You've been gone for quite a while now, but the tears still fall. I love you Zack, and I miss you so much!
