Rocky was purchased from a pet store as a gift for my husband from his mother. He was an impluse buy, they had the puppies out of their window and Rocky decided to run out of the shop my husband like his apprent smarts that is why they brought him home. (however we have scince discovered that rocky is lacking slighlty in the intellegence department he is our very lovable but quite dopey dog). And so through marriage I adopted Rocky and he has been my dog really for the last 7 years.
Rocky is very lovable and affectionate has the habit of greeting our guests with the offer of a hand shake (very polite). Rocky has a condition which makes him unable to produce tears and after several infection he has lost all sight in his Left eye and Partial sight in his right eye. He was also prone to Ear infections which meant that he had very little hearing, he has an operation on his left ear where they removed his ear drum and actual stiched up the ear. thank fully scince then we have had no problems with his ears and he has been much happier.
Due to old age Rocky has developed acute arthritis in his rear legs and front shoulder, he has to have regular injections to help him along. He is a fighter though and as long as there is someone to curk up next to he is the happiest little dog in the world!

Rogue's 1st birthday
Rocky went to the bridge on the 3rd of March 2007. He woke up in the moring and was disorintated and weak he then just slept again for about two hours. We took him to the vet where they ran some test and discovered a large tumour in his splean. The only symptoms of this was a loss of red blood cells which caused him to be lathargic which we missed due to his old age. The vet explained that the treatment would require major surgery and chemo and at his age it may only buy him a couple of months. So we made the heart breaking decsision to send our gourgus old boy over the rainbow bridge. He fell asleep with his head on my hand. It was very sudden and we are still in shock. We will miss him everyday. he was a wonderful loving member of our family.
