Arrival Story:
We bought Sophie from a breeder in Wisconsin. We met him and his litter half way between our homes since it was pretty far away. This happened to be at a truck stop! Sophie had two brothers who were very cute, but we picked Sophie because she fell in love with our very alpha Shiba Inu, Bridget. We wanted a dog who got along well with Bridget and wasn't too challenging of her dominance. Not sure whether that was a great idea, but Sophie at times is an alpha trapped in an omega's body! (Bridget calmed down when meeting other dogs after raising Sophie!)

Bio:
Sophie needs to be near people, and gets separation anxiety very easily. Whenever we go places in the car, she needs to have the window cracked so she can smell where we are. As with all Beagles, Sophie's nose is more keen than her eyes. Sophie has to be touching her warm body against ours at night. She "goes under" the covers every night and cuddles next to one of us. She can sometimes be stubborn, like not coming or obeying commands, but she is impossible not to fall in love with.
