Anniversary of my death

Saturday, December 13, 2008 was the ten month anniversary of my death. Mommy has been thinking about me alot lately. Let her know that you're thinking of her--she'll appreciate it.

November 4, 1994--February 13, 2008

I, Bear, guardian and protector of my family, went to doggie heaven today. My family is grieving deeply. I know that they loved me so much!

Mommy and her sailor aren't together anymore--haha! I didn't like when he got close to her, hugging and kissing and stuff.

I can be very stubborn

I love annoying my family's other dog, Baby. I hate it when she gets more attention than me, even for a second. Right now, she's being babied in my family's house because she's sick and was missing all day yesterday. I still like her, though.

The joy I derive from not being an only dog

Mommy's other dog, Baby, who's a Beagle, is my favorite "toy". She's small, so I can easily overpower her. I like to run in front of her and wait. Then, I'll pounce on her--playfully, of course. I can take my big paw and just push her down. She growls and snarls at me, but its fun.

How Bear got his name

The name that my family gave me is the perfect one. For one, I'm a watchdog; NO ONE, who's not my family, gets past me. And two, I act, look, and growl like a bear.

About me...

Hi, I'm Bear. I'm a Rottweiler and I'm 12 years old. I love my family and take pride in watching over them and our home. When I was a puppy, I was given to my family as a birthday present for my master. He'd always wanted one, and from then one...I was a part of this family.
