She was abused and neglected with her collar growing into her neck. She broke free and was rescued by animal control. They brought her to my work ( fire station) for me to adopt her. She was 24 lbs and recovering from 7 surgeries on her neck. She was never fed, so she eats dog poop. I am working to break that nasty smelly habit. But she is so loveable.

One more day


no more poop

I have found the cure to eating poop. Take a trip to NYC in the middle of winter in 18 degree temps. To be on the TODAY SHOW. When you get back home to FLORIDA, you won't eat poop. After Ruby's trip she does not eat poop anymore.

 

To NYC and Back in 36 hours

Well, Wed. we got the call to go to NYC all expenses paid from NBC. YEAH and we were staying in the Hilton Times Square. But 13.5 hours in a plane or airport. YUCK. The Today SHow and Hilton staff were awesome. Midwest has a great dog friendly system. But don't fly in the winter. That was an awesome experience. Thanks to all that voted and thanks to NBC for the trip.
