Arrival Story:
Katie was 7 mo. old when we took her. We were her 7th home in 7 months. Her owner couldn't make up her mind whether to keep her, so he'd give her away and then take her back and finally we took her. Again, he wanted her back and we said "no way." It took a long time for Katie to realize that she was here to stay.
