My pals made my Easter extra special this year.

I want to thank all my pals that sent me Easter wishes and Rosettes. I love them all. So thoughtful of you to think of me. I hope all my pals had a wonderful Easter.
I have been enjoying the outdoors lately.. All the Spring flowers have come out earlier this year because of our warm weather and I have been busy outside with Mom. She loves the outdoors you know. I love for her to come outside too!!!
It gets kind of boring sometimes outside by my self. I can only find so many squirrels to chase you know. I think they are on to me.
Anyways about all for now. Thanks again for the Easter wishes.

Yardwork AGAIN MOM???

Well Mom is at it again. She seems to work in our yard all the time. She sure does have it looking very nice and pretty though. She puts a lot of hard work in that yard. It just wears me out when she works out there. She doesn't understand why I have to follow her around everywhere she goes. She tells me to find a place and just watch her, but hey we got a big yard and my eyes can't see her all the time so i just have to follow her that's all there is to it.
Anyways Mom is a tired girl today and I am one tired pup too. I hope tomorrow she finds something more relaxing to do. I need some rest!!!
Well pals I guess I better go and take it easy cause I don't know what Mom has planned for us tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be YARDWORK!!!!.

Pretty flowers everywhere!!!

Mom is outside playing in the dirt again and you know what that means. I follow her around to be sure she is doing it right. So far so good Mom. That is so fun for me when Mom is outside being busy and we get to have fun together. I hope all my pals are doing something fun too. Been really hot, but we can still enjoy being outside. Hi Pals!!!

I hope everyone one of you had a very Happy St Patricks Day. I did, but of course it was just another day except there sure was a lot of green around. I saw green everywhere!! I want to thank all of my pals that sent Rosettes to me. I loved them all. So thoughtful of you to think of me. Oh and thanks to Mom & Dad. They sent me Rosettes too!!!
I am so tired of this awful yellow stuff that is hanging around my house. I am of course talking about Pollen. There is yellow everywhere. Mom says this time of year I go from being a black lab to being part yellow lab. not funny Mom :O/
All the trees and plants are really pretty and in full bloom though. I guess we have to have some bad (pollen) with the good (beautiful scenery). It is also in the 80's which is very unusually warm temp's for this time of year. I don't like the hot temps either. I guess I am just not a happy camper right now. I am healthy, happy and loved and that is what is the most important though.

My Valentines Day wishes and Rosettes.

Many thanks for my rosettes and valentines wishes. I loved them all. Such thoughtful pals I have. I have the best pals on Dogster and I really mean that. You are all so pawsome.
Hope you are all having a great day. Getting a little rain at my house, but that is no problem. Gives Mom a chance to get somethings done without me begging her to come outside and play with me and I get to take a nap in my doghouse. Great day all around. All for now Pals. Until next time. It is so fun to play ball with my mom.

We are having very nice weather these days and you know what that means. Time to play ball. Mom comes out and plays with me, but gets aliitle aggravated with me because she throws the ball and after I catch it I won't bring it back to her. I get close to her, but when she tries to get me to give her the ball it is like a game to me for her to try to take it away from me. Sometimes she does get it and thinks she took it from me, but don't tell her pals, but I let her get it. She tries to bribe me with treats. Oh don't get me wrong. I can get that treat, eat it and still beat her to the ball that is lying on the ground.. BOL. It is so fun to play ball with my mom!!! Hope you are having fun playing ball too pals. I am unable to update my profile. I click on it but that is as far as I get. I am tired of looking at that happy New Year background. ha ha. any ideas? Has dogster changed and I don't know about it? Any ideas and help will be greatly appreciated. A BIG THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

JUSTUS ( A wonderful Pal)

I just heard of the loss of one of my DEAR PALS, Justus. My heart is broken. I am just so sorry to hear this awful and sad news.. He was such a great friend to me on Dogster. Mom & I will miss him so much. i remember all the fun we had on Dogster sending Rosettes and paw mails and yes I do admit flirting a little bit with him... Well a lot sometimes. How could I not? He is a gorgeous guy!!!
He was such a wonderful friend to all that knew him. I will miss you so much sweet friend. You rest in peace.
Not a good way to start the day, but instead of being down about it I am going to be thankful that I had the chance to know Justus and to be his friend. I feel truly blessed by knowing him.

I'm Having a BARKING New Year so far....

For real!!! Yep I have started out the New Year by barking ALOT!! I just bark at everything. People walking up the road, dogs I see running loose :O/ just everything, but my most favorite thing to bark at is the UPS person. I love barking at that brown truck. BOL!!! It is fun to bark at the Fedx truck too.
Mom is about to either pull her hair out or mine. She gets on to me every time I open my mouth to bark. I just can't help myself. I have to let Mom know that someone is close by. Mom says that she really does appreciate that I am a great guard dog, BUT she says that I don't have to bark at everything and when I do bark that it is not necessary for me to bark and Bark and BARK. She said that she has good hearing and the first time I bark that is good enough to alert her that someone is close by. Hey when I feel the need to bark I have to actually see Mom to know that she hears me which means she has to stop whatever she is doing and come outside. .
Anyways the bottom line is that Mom is really getting aggravated with me barking so much. She is trying to get some things done in the house and my barking keeps interrupting her. Sorry Mom but your safety is more important to me than my getting in trouble for barking so I will just keep barking and getting into trouble. Hey I gotta go now. There is something outside that I need to go bark at. Happy Barking New Year Pals!!
