Birthday: February 14th 2004 Likes: sleeping on the couch Pet-Peeves: other dogs eating her food, having her feet washed Favorite Toy: cat toys with bells Favorite Food: Greenies (they're made here in Kansas City!) Best Tricks: shake Arrival Story: My mom and dad lost their sweet girl Sadie (my big sissy in spirit) 6 months before I came to live with them and wanted to have a special Rottie girl, just like me to love. They found me on Mid America Rott Rescue website, where I was being adopted out from Iowa. They went through a lot of work to try and adopt me, because I'm special. My foster mom and dad drove me to Kansas City in the Summer of 2004 to live with my older sissy, M&M, who is also adopted. I love my sissy M&M so much. When I first came to KC, she was the same size as me. Now I'm a lot bigger and I watch out for her at the dog park. The Groups I'm In: ♥♥LDFC♥♥, Rotten Rompin' Rotties, Shelter Life I've Been On Dogster Since:
Yesterday, I went to see Dr. O. Mommy dropped me off at lunch time with my kitty cat friend Basie. Basie didn't like the ride over, but I did! She cried all the way there. There were lots of other puppies, and kitties and people who were very nice to me. I had to get my shots. Ouchie! But it's all for the best. Mommy wants me to be big and strong. M&M was sooooooo jealous that I got to go for a bye-bye without her! She sniffed me all over when I came home for dinner and admired my new green fire plug "jewelry". I weigh 79 pounds now! 4 pounds more than last year. Mommy still calls me her skinny girl. She says I have legs like an antelope. Guess that's why I'm so good at bouncing.
My cousin Terrance came to visit me this weekend. He came to see me last week too. I was so happy to see him. He moved out in March and I haven't seen much of him since then. My mommy says Terrance was naughty because he jumped his new fence (1 block away) to come and see me. I was glad for the visit all the same. It's good at least that if he runs away from home he comes to our safe house, don't you think. He's so crazy, but that's why I like him!
My friend Echo came for a sleep over on Tuesday. Echo's momma had to go out of town so she stayed with us. Echo is so grown up. Someday I hope to be as grown up as Echo. Echo is learning to be a dog that visits sick people in hospitals. Isn't that neat! Echo was missing her momma, so I let her sleep on my bed to make her feel better. I hope that Echo comes to see me again soon. My sissy M&M and I like to play with her lots! Maybe Leloni can come with her next time.
I am so excited that spring is here. Although I like to play in the snow, I love to run and run and run in my backyard, and there is no better time to do this than spring. I ran so much last fall, that my mommy and daddy had to put hay down on the grass in our backyard. They call me their "little horsie" because I run like a race horse and like to pretend that my yard is a race track. My favorite game is being chased around the picnic table on our back deck. My cousin Terrance chases me the best! My sissy, M&M, just thinks I'm silly and barks at me to tell me to slow down.
