taking long strolls at Dog Beach Coronado Ca. If she cant go there her second fav. is the Golf Course at night to chase the bunnies

Arrival Story:
we found Kaya (hopi for elder sister) at a beautiful animal shelter called helen woodward animal center in san diego. thankfully they rescued her, from death row. She was at a kill shelter in Arizona. We drove up to Rancho Santa Fe looking for a new family member. While we walked around the shelter all the dogs were freaking out and barking up a storm. Kaya (then Sassy) sat quietly in her kennel. We walked up to her and she did this jump, bark, growl all at the same time. She was so pretty (she has the same hair color as her papa) and just the right size. We adopted her immediately. The first couple of weeks was pretty sketchy she bit my brother but other than that she is doing quiet well. 6 months and counting. We LOVE HER!!!

kaya has asked us to thank all of the people at helen woodward animal center for saving her life and for helping her find her forever and ever family. Yay!!!! Last but not least thanks to dogster.com for giving Kaya a place in cyber space

Well we are now in September and Kaya has been with us offically for three months. She has totally changed since her first day with us. From being an extremely cautious and untrusting dog, to a wonderful, playful, trusting, and comfortable dog. She has brought so much joy to me and my fiances life. I wonder if she understands how much we truly adore her.
I sure do hope so.
