Quick Bio:

Likes:
Tennis balls and her sister, Peanut.

Pet-Peeves:
Other dogs taking her ball, people thinking that throw /fetch is more fun than tug of war*.

Favorite Toy:
Tennis balls and her sister, Peanut (really!) Pea is like a live toy that will wrestle and likes to be chased around the back yard. They have a ton of fun together!

Favorite Food:
Anything but bananas. Chicken jerky and anything hard to chew are high on the list.

Favorite Walk:
We walk to a neighborhood park every weekday and she loves it when we go off leash near the baseball diamonds and she can have her ball.

Best Tricks:
No tricks but she sure has jaws of steel--if you're strong enough you can swing her around by the tennis ball in her mouth! Our friends at the dog park think it's funny how she puts one paw on her ball to protect it, during breaks in chewing and playing.

Arrival Story:
I saw her at a work event where the local shelter was doing an off site adoption. It was Halloween and she looked so sad and scared (halloween + scaredy dog=the name Boo) in her cage and looked me right in the eyes. I decided almost on a whim to take her home.

Bio:
I don't know her origin--the off site adoption was an abbreviated process so I think I missed some info about her background. She' s a good girl with high energy and a bit of stress so our daily walks and weekend trips to the dog park are very important to keeping her happy and relaxed. *Update on pet peeve #2: after a few weeks of training, Boo is now willing to drop her ball at my command 8 out of 10 times. Ok, at least 65-70% of the time. Well. She drops it sometimes. Then I throw it and she and Pea race to it; Boo always wins but Peanut latches on and they lope back to me--attached at the ball (as in both of them with a few teeth on either side of the ball). Very amusing.

Forums Motto:
Have ball, will chew.
