not very big on toys, but loves to chew on sticks he finds in the yard

Cheese!!! Cheeseburgers (just occasionally), and anything else he sneaks. Mainly just Nutro Natural Choice Lamb and Rice!!!

around our neighborhood, he is very curious!!!

Arrival Story:
My husband and I decided we wanted to get a dog. We had just bought our first house a couple of months earlier and had a nice big yard, but no big dog to run and play in it. I had always wanted a Saint Bernard ever since I watched Beethoven when I was little!! So, we decided we would look into rescuing instead of finding a breeder. I went to Petfinder.com and found Samson who had been rescued by Nalley's Nards in Liberty, SC. Everything was done via email and was a very easy process. We drove from TN to SC to pick him up. When we met him we totally fell in love!!!!! He was used to being inside a lot so it was an easy transition for him. He made himself right at home and now it is as if he has always been here!! He is so great with our son who is 3yrs old. They have so much fun running around together in the yard!!! He is my shadow!! No matter what Im doing, he follows me and is content to just be laying beside me. I could not ask for a better companion!! We are so blessed to have him in our lives!!
Bio:
Samson was originally from New York City, NY. He was rescued from a shelter there that has a very high kill rate. He travelled to PA, and was then taken to SC where he lived with his wonderful foster family until he found his forever home with us!!
