Arrival Story:
I fostered Bailey for 10 days after his owner decided to give him up to the shelter. He was hurt and dirty, covered with ticks and fleas, and not yet recovered from an accident that took the life of his sibling. He had a horrible nightmare that first night and actually screamed in his sleep. My female aussie shepherd jumped off my bed and crawled into Bailey's bed and curled up with him for the remainder of the night. Since then they have been inseparable and when his 10 days were up I couldn't let him go so I adopted him. I bring home a lot of foster dogs from the local animal shelter and Bailey is always the first to greet the new arrivals and make them feel welcome. He loves all dogs big and small and is great with puppies!

Bio:
Bailey was born on or around St. Patrick's Day so I made it his official birthdate and gave him the full name of Bailey's Irish Cream. We recently almost lost Bailey when he went into sudden liver failure from an unknown source. But with a 9 day hospital stay and much love and care, Bailey is back to normal and doing well.
