A Day in My Life

another doggy day

Well, I woke up around 9:00 this morning, and Joe, Emma, Mommy and I all got out of bed and ate breakfast in the kitchen. I got a couple slices of ham, which was nice. Anyway, Mommy tied Joe and Emma up outside, and let me go running, like she does every morning. I ran next door to my neighbor's house and met up with my friends Missy, Brutus, and Bailey. Then we all went for a run in the woods. We ran down to the pond where my Mommy's dad was fishing and staying with him awhile, then we found some wonderful stinky stuff to roll in. So after we were down there for awhile, we heard Bailey's mommy calling him, so we all went back to our houses. I got back into our driveway, and Mommy had just finished washing her car, and for some reason she wasn't too pleased about what I had rolled in. So she took me up on the deck until I dried off enough to come in the house. She brought me a treat and some water since I had been gone for so long. Then she let Joe and Emma on the deck with me, so I wouldn't be alone. After I had dried off she let me in, then took me downstairs and gave me a bath! yuck...Anyway, I will probably go for a walk with Mommy later, but right now I'm pooped so I'm going to go take a nap.
