When I went to the vet's office to pick her up she came out into the waiting room sat down in front of me and started pawing me to pet her. Well after seeing that and what a good disposition she had I had to take her home with me. So I guess you could say it was love at first paw!!! Bio: Shelby had a really bad case of heartworms and she was not expected to make it through treatment. But with alot of love and help from rescue she made it through with flying colors. She was definantly a fighter. When she came home she fit right in with her two Cocker brothers. She was with me for 3 years and she was treated like the princess she was. I don't know what her past was like but I know that she had the best life she had ever had in the short time she was with me. She is missed very much.
