What a Weekend

Boy what a frantic past two days it's been!!! First of all Mommy had to take me to the dogter yesterday cause my nose was bleeding. Well the dogter checked me out and decided that I needed to have a scope stuck up my nose to see what was going on. Well it turns out that I have a growth in my nose so the dogter took some samples of it to find out what it is. But anyway while I was under the dogter and Mommy decided that I should go ahead and have my teeth cleaned. Which has to be a good thing since stinky breath seems to be curse of nature for us old pups!!! But anyway Mommy came to pick me up yesterday and I ended up having to stay the night at the doggie hospital cause I got all excited to see her and my nose started bleeding again. The dogter said that it would probably be better to leave me overnight so that I could stay calm and get some rest. Well this morning Mommy was getting ready to come get me and the dogter called her to tell her that he wanted me to stay in the hospital for the rest of the weekend. See my red blood count was really low and that was causing my nose to keep bleeding and not to clot. So the dogter told Mommy that he was going to give me a transfusion so my red count would go up and that hopefully by doing that my blood will start to clot and no more bloody nose. Boy what a bunch to go through just for a bloody nose!!!!!
And I want to give a Big Birthday Bark to my little Brother Spencer!!! Even though you are not with us we miss you bunches!!!

It's Getting Close

Ima getting excited.....which fur an old doggie like me dat takes a lot!!!!! But anyhowl me Birfday is a week away and Ima really looking forward to it. Da reason being youz might ask.....it's cuz me is going to be a BIG 14 years old!!! Now fur you young whipper snappers out there being 14 is a BIG deal!!!! Me don't do much dez days but eat and sleep but hey me figured Iva earned dat right to sleep all day. Besides Mommie sayz all me has to do dez days is to take it easy,enjoy life and be cute. And trust me Iva got all dat down especially da being cute part!!! BOL!!! And it's really cool since me Birfday is on Howl-lo-ween. Me gets dose spookey cupcakes and Mommy usually has a pawty fur me. But she thinks dat dis year she is just going to let me have my cake and go take me a napzzzzz!!!!!

Whew

Just wanted everybody to know dat my needle stickin' days are over!!! I've been havin to go to dat vet doctor every Friday to get my blood tested and last week it showed dat my white blood count wuz normal and my overall count wuz only 3 points lower than normal. So that vet doctor tool me off them meds...I took my last pill yesterday and I don't have to get stuck fur another 3 weeks. I am one happy puppy!!! According to Mommy Ima still not acting myself but I ma gettin' better every day. I even made it while Mommy wuz gone today wifout teein' on da carpet. She wuz sooooo happy about dat and gave me lots of praise and pats fur it. I am even startin' to sleep through da night wifout havin' to wakes her up to goze outside. So hopefully (paws crossed) I have gotten meself through this and I can egt on track to be me old self!!!

Rough Week!!!

I don't know about you doggies out there but it has been a rough week fur me!!!
It all started last week when I went to da vet doctor fur my yearly checkup. Mommy (with her big mouth) told him that I just wuzn't acting like meself and that she wuz concerned. So dat vet doctor took my blood and said that he would have it tested and would call to let Mommy know if anything wuz wrong. Well early Saturday morning the phone rings and it's dat vet doctor telling Mommy that she needs to get me back to da hospital ASAP!!! So Mommy goes into panic mode, upset mode and every other mode that them hoomans goes to!!! BOL...But anyways my immune system wuz attacking itself which wuz causin' my white blood cells to over produce which in turn wuz killin' off my red blood cells. WHEW dem blood cells do a lot of wurk fur being so little. Well I ended up having to spend da nite at da hospital and get me a blood transfusion. Even though I felt bad I wuz not a happy puppy. So I gots to come home da next day wif sum meds to take. And let me tell you Mommy has spoiled me rotten. I bet I could have gotten away wif murder but Ima not that kind of doggie!!! So I had to go back to dat vet doctor today and have another blood test done. Ima so tired of being stuck wif dem needles!!! Well my red blood count has dropped a little so dat vet doctor put me back on steriods and sum other meds until next week. And guess what I gets to go back next Friday and get stuck again!!!!! But overall Ima doing much better, Ima eatin', not sleepin' so much and I even got da ball to play wif Mommy last night. I just wish dat dis needle stickin' would stop!!!!!

Birthday Boy

Whew!!! I made it another year!!!! What an exciting day I have had. First of all when I woke up this morning Mommy started singing this song.....I think it's a birthday song but since I am a doggie I don't understand the words. But anyway I got all excited when she attempted to sing!!! BOL!!! Then later in the day guess what I got.....I finally got sum CAKE!!!!! Mommy got me a cake and a hat to wear. And I should bark that neither lasted long. The hat stayed on for about 2 minutes and the cake was gone in one bite!!! But boy wuz it sum good cake. I knew I wuz specail then cuz Mommy rarely gives us human food. My brofer Spencer nand sis Abigail got sum too. Spencer dropped his cake and Abigail didn't quite know what the cake wuz being it wuz her fisrt time eatin' cake. But she got the hang of it and that's a good thing cuz her birthday is next month. So over all I had a Great birthday and now I am ready to settle down and take a nap.

I Smell Cake

And why do I smell cake you might be asking yurself??? Well it's becoz in 2 count them 2 days it will be my Birfday!!!! I can hardley wait cause I knoz that there is gonna be cake in my futurz. Mommy alwayz getz us pupz sum cake and pup ice creamz on ourz birfday. She said that she wuz gonna getz sum party hatz and attemp to take picturez of us. She wantz to make thiz birfday specialz fur me cuz she feelz that 13 is a BIG milestone. Whutz do I thinkz well I trys to tells herz da it's just a numberz and that Isa gotz alot a livingz to doose!!!!!! Plus it is gonna be interesting to sees howz my little sista Abigail takes all this in since it will be her firstest birfday pawty. As Isa alwayz bark...Let them eat cake!!!! Yummo!!!!
