Arrival Story:
She came from a no kill rescue shelter to be a companion for the dogs. When I went and met her, she was the only dog that jumped up on her fence of her cage. I looked at her and said, "You knew I was coming for you, didn't you?" She's loved us ever since!
Bio:
She's a bit territorial, but took the Beagle in as if she were his mother. I think she thinks she is his mother...just doesn't remmeber the birthing process. She is the fastest runner out of all the dogs, and even got herself a squirrel and a mouse. She is super intelligent but is kind of like a cat in that she has her own way about her. Her patience and determination to achieve what she desires is astounding. You almost can't believe a dog can think on the level it appears she is thinking. Since she is so smart...my dad has come to saying she has the devil in her because she plays like a sweet princess...but she has a plan deviously working.

1. I require to sleep or rest in your lap...or any other lap that may be available at the moment.
2. I am a princess...I don't like to sleep on the ground. I'll sleep in chairs or on the picnic table if I have to.
3. I can sit motionless for hours if I think I might catch a bird or squirrel.
4. I get the wiggles when I think you're talking to me!
5. I am the fastest dog in the backyard.
6. I think a beagle is my puppy (even though I've been spayed before I could have puppies)

Finally my patience paid off again! I was watching the platform where there were seeds for birds and a bird finally landed and I just slyly reached up and caught it!!!!
I was so happy and proud of myself!! I danced around with it for a minute and set it down for a second and that BEAGLE TOOK IT FROM ME!
Mom and dad ended up taking the bird away from the beagle...that little jerk...but I still caught a bird! YAY!

Mom showed up and put leashes on JJ, Hunter and me today! I like car rides, but mostly because I get to sit in a lap and sniff the air conditioner during the car rides. Sometimes I see neat stuff going by...but I mostly just enjoy sitting in a lap and sniffing the air conditioner.
Anyway, we got to a building, went in for a sec, and came back outside. I was really excited because all the smells there made me think I'd get to meet tons of new people! I sniffed alot in the grass. It was alot of fun!
Then we went back inside and I sniffed all around there. My brother gave up sniffing too soon I thought. I needed to sniff some more to see if I could find a new lap to sit in or not...I wasn't too sure.
Anyway, my brothers each got some pinches and then the lady looked at me and called me over.
Oh my gosh! I was SO excited about that! I got the wiggles! I kept trying to look at the lady and lick her to tell her how happy I was she called me and maybe see if I could get in her lap, but mom kept moving my head and then I felt a pinch or two. Oh well.
But then I got to get back in dad's lap on another car ride. It was a fun day!
