Arrival Story:
He belonged to a neighbor who kept him in a cage 12-14 hours at a time where he was hungry, lonely, cold, dirty, and teased by rats. When she let him outside at night he'd come over to visit. Of course we fed him! After a while we talked her into letting us have him and she signed him over to my 5 year old granddaughter. We had a lot of bad habits to correct and he had a bladder infection that had almost gone to far. A lot of medical attention, food, bathes and tons of love, he's in wonderful shape and happy.

Coco's Life:
Coco is now a silly, playful, full of himself doggie. He adores "his kid" Nylah who is his true owner. And her mommy of course. I'm the grandmother (Mimi) and he's my lap dog. Spends most of his time there keeping me company. When I'm on the computer he'll jump into my lap and try to pull my finger away from the mouse. My attention is not on him! He sleeps with me and follows me everywhere. He loves to go play with his "cousin" Raven who is a Husky/Lab mix. They're funny to watch in the yard with him running in front, the wind blowing his hair back, and her behind him trying to catch the little dickens. We've had big dogs for so long it was hard to get used to a little dog personality and the yipping. But we're working on that too. He's still a bit nervous about things moving in the dark I think because he spent so much time alone in a cage in the dark with mice/rats tormenting him. We love him that's for sure.
