Arrival Story:
I adopted April from a co-worker. They were having a new baby in addition to their 3 year old daughter and didn't have the time for her any longer so instead of placing her in a shelter like they had planned they asked if I would or knew anyone that would be willing to adopt her. I of course said that I would take her.

Bio:
I know from her previous owner that she was born on April 1st so thats where her name came from. She has also had a litter of puppies in November of 2005. A few co-workers adotpted the puppies who are jack russell/terrier mixes. I adopted her on Dec. 26 2006. I could have gotten her before Christmas, but I thought it was important that she spend one last Christmas with her previous owners.
