Arrival Story:
Rusty was a stray the animal control picked up. He was about 4 months old. When we lived back in California, we were looking for our first dog. We were passing by all the kennels when we saw this small puppy looking at us. I greeted him, and he wagged his tail. I fell in love with him and we took him home. He was a great dog!
Bio:
When Rusty got older, he got arthritis and it was hard for him. Then a year later, he became blind. Later on, he got a tumor. At thirteen years, we decided to put our boy down. The vet let us have the last moments with him. We spent a few minutes in a quiet room, he was sleeping on my lap. Then the vet came in and gave him the shot. He died in my arms. He had lived a good life.
