 Quick Bio:
Likes: Lying flat on his back in the sun...'nuts to the wind'.

Pet-Peeves: All other dogs...cats, birds, horses, cows, lizards, toads...anything that could potentially come between him and 'his people'. Loves all humans tho'.

Favorite Toy: Tennis balls...unfortunately they only get thrown once and it's game over...no getting them back off him!

Favorite Food: Your last mouthful!

Favorite Walk: Anywhere, but only when it suits him...and not too early in the morning.

Best Tricks: Snoring with his eyes open when you're trying to get his attention.

Arrival Story: I always wanted a Staffy and when I bought my first house in a pretty dodgy area, I moved in to find this 'beast' behind a very low chain-wire fence next door. One day this enormous head popped through a hole under the fence, then over the next few months it was a case of "Oops, here I am on your back porch", then "I'm coming inside now", and "I'll just lie here in the kitchenwhile you cook dinner" and finally "Look at that, I'm just keeping you company in bed while my owner's at work" (she worked nights). The minute she'd leave, he'd be at my back door and when he heard her come home in the early hours I'd let him out and off he'd trot (nothing like feeling used). Eventually he'd just lift his head when he heard the car then go back to sleep. She was pretty young and wanted to travel and one day suggested that I just take care of him permanently, given he'd pretty much moved in. They say that puppies pick you...we'll, I'd say it's true of big ones as well. He's my angel.

Bio: Aparently Zeus' parents were pretty tough dogs (I don't really want to know the details) and subsequently Zeus wasn't really socialised as a pup. He's been fixed now but has fathered one litter since I've had him (with a Staffy/Pitbull cross...the only dog he's ever accepted and lived happilly with for two years); 11 of THE most gorgeous little slugs with big heads and strong bods (see photos).
We're now permanently on the road...check out his travel blog at: http://www.buddhabellie.com.au/id7 .html

My best mate passed away peacefully on the 9th of July. They say a dog will never look at you when it's 'time'. Zeus was sedated, sat back on his haunches, turned and held my stare for nearly a minute then lay down. A special boy...there can never be two. Hope he's playing nice in Doggie Heaven!!!
