Boy there sure a lot of little furries looking me up. I really like that cause there for a while I was getting awful lonely. I've been told that mommy has been talking about me and referring all the little ones here to me. I look forward to each one of them and I promise to take real good care of them. I miss mommy and Willie, but I have a job to do and I will do my job each and everyday.

Her name was Miss Liberty Ann. She was born on July 4, 2005 and came to live with us as a birthday gift for my birthday in Sept. We had her but a short time before she was abruptly taken from us.
On Feb. 28, 2006 as my husband had breakfast and my daughter and I prepared for work and school some person(s) unknown came into our yard and opened the gate to the backyard. All the dogs ran out and began wandering the neighborhood. At some point Liberty got up to the main street that passes our neighborhood and was hit by a car or truck. A neighbor came by to tell us the dogs were out and as we went to get them rounded up we learned of the tragedy that had befallen our little girl.
We cried for days afterward and I wanted to find those who had caused this. An old fashioned lynching party came to mind, that's how angry and upset I was. A surprise though was my hubby telling me to find a new dog, he isn't an animal person. After much searching I found Gretchen (The monster who came to dinner) and bought her. She has helped to heal the hole in my heart, but nothing wil ever replace my Libby Ann.
