Sun Sign:
Quick Bio:
-pound dog-dog rescue

Birthday:
October 19th 2006

Likes:
Listening to mommy and ignoring daddy ;)

Pet-Peeves:
The cats hissing at me when I just want to sniff them..., dark streets and water coming at me (rain or garden hose)

Favorite Toy:
It used to be Rope-Bone and Rope-Ball (but I ate too much strings for my health) so it's my Cuz or my kong (preferably stuffed) but above all, my favorite is any of my friend Helix's toys !! no ! I know it's my new Wubba !!

Favorite Food:
Currently loves his Innova adult food but not as much as he loves bully-stick or his sardines !!

Favorite Walk:
'round and 'round the block and also at the "lake" and lately I've try biking with my humans...

Best Tricks:
Asking to go pee/poo, sit, down, stay, wait, leave it, take it, come, drop it, paws (= shake), high 5

Arrival Story:
We visited the SPCA on a Saturday, just to look for what they were having "in stock", but having no intention of buying then since we didn't have the crate, food, toys, collar, leash, etc... And of course we saw that little bunddle of joy ! We came back home without the puppy (we followed our intentions) and we spent the week buying all the necessary and crossing our fingers for the puppy to be still there on Friday afternoon... And when we went back, on Friday, he was still there... so we took him home with us... our little bunddle of joy !

Bio:
Sushi is learning all his tricks in English, in French (only for the basic house training - sit down, stay...) and with signs. He's also a real good dog when it's time to be in his crate for the night or for the time human eats. Sushi is not afraid of taking a bath but is a little bit affraid of dark streets.

stroller attack

Mom did a hit n' run...
Ok, not really... but she flew the scene of the accident... and you have to consider that it's only because I was at the end of the leash...

We went for a walk with my skin brother in his stroller... You know the happy smelly spring feeling... Yeah ! so I was being not that good on the walk (heeling at the stroller instead of heeling to mommy per example...) And then it happen... she push the stroller wheels on my paws !!

She totally rolled on me and didn't even stop to check if I was OK...
Oh dog ! I can tell you that I was checking that stroller from the corner of my eyes and heeling to mommy (safer and more away to the stroller that way...) after that !!

P.S. : Of course I'm absolutly not hurt a little bit at all...

GSD Christmas story

From Dutchie Paws!

'Twas the night before Christmas, as the clock chimed the hour,
Vincent chased Rosie ‘round a Poinsettia flower;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that Medea would sing for us there;
The Dogsters were nestled all snug in their beds,
With visions of cheese-whiz filled Kongs in their heads;
And Madalyn in her 'kerchief, and King in his cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap,
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
They all sprang to the door to bark, “What is the matter.”
Away to the window Kisses flew like a flash,
Nosed open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Showed the half-buried tennis balls buried below,
When, what to our glistening brown eyes should appear,
But a gigantic sleigh, and eight furry “reindeer,”
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
We knew right away that it must be St. Nick.
More rapid than beagles the harnessed dogs go,
And the hair that they shed, fell soft, like the snow;
"Now, Ekko! Now, Cookie! Now, Bullet and Cruiser!
On, Gretchen! On Charles! On Rex! Forward Bridger!
On past the hydrant! To the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"
As guard hairs that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,
So up to the house-top the GSDs flew,
With the sleigh full of bones, and St. Nicholas too.
And then, in a twinkling, they heard up above
The clicking of nails and a snort and a shove.
As they drew in their heads, and were turning around,
Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound.
He was covered in hair, from his head to his foot,
And working a lint brush, and ignoring the soot;
A bundle of toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler with a big dog food sack.
His eyes -- how they twinkled! His dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
Cause he’d stepped in a yellow spot there in the snow;
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
While Natasha lay quietly chewing the wreath;
He bent to rub Bellaluna’s little round belly,
And joined Ranger and Arko for some toast with some jelly.
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And Bandit growled softly, in spite of himself;
With a wink of his eye and a pat on the head,
He let them all know they had nothing to dread;
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
Heidi helped fill the stockings; then he turned with a jerk,
And laying his hand gently on Sushi’s head,
He said, “Please tuck your little skin-brother in bed;
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team, a short beep, Onyx ruffed softly, it was now time to sleep.
But the big man exclaimed, ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Christmas all pups, merry dreams, and good-night."

Here are the rules of the game!

Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Dogs who are tagged, need to post in their Diary the rules & their 7 pawsome facts. Then choose 7 dogs to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to bark them a pmail that they have been tagged and to read your Diary, or, send them a fun Rosette announcing they've been Tagged!

Seven Pawsome Facts About Bailey:

7. My cat sibblings are jalous of me when I get to have my sardines.

6. I go to daycare and I have a girlfriend there.

5. While trying to play with the cats, I "accept" to get pawed on the nose a lot.

4. I whine a little bit when mommy leave home.

3. I've been known to be the teacher's pet in puppy class (who can resist Rollover ??)

2. Plushies are not allowed in my world anymore because I trear them appart and eat too much of the white stuff and get sick with it...

1. I'll do anything for a cookie

Now I have to decide who to tag. In random order (from my selection of pup pals -- Woof!):

1. Helix
2. Axel
3. Tika
4. Mika
5. Piper
6. Poison
7. Alexis
