Likes: Food! Neighborhood watch, people, the shack
Pet-Peeves: Being left alone, Shula
Favorite Toy: The pheasant
Favorite Food: Popcorn, ice cream, green beans
Favorite Walk: The woods at the shack
Best Tricks: I don't do tricks. I just look cute.
Arrival Story: I was found wandering the alleys of Clouquet, and Friends of Animals found me. They couldn't find my owner. My Aunt Dede called my mom and dad to see if they wanted another puppy and they did!
Bio: I like to go to the shack and be with the guys. Really, I like to go anywhere with anybody - I just like to go! I don't like being left alone, and when someone leaves I jump onto the back of the couch to watch them go. I also monitor the goings-on in the world from that spot. I like to cuddle and be held. When I need a nap, I jump into my big leather chair or make a nest out of my blankies. (Sometimes that annoys my sister when she's sleeping on them!) I like to go hunting, but the gunshots scare me. Sometimes barking at big dogs get me into trouble. My favorite times are when my whole family is at home where I can keep an eye on them!
Good quote from a book my hu-sister just finished reading - pups are important in this world:
"For those who despair that their lives are without meaning and without purpose, for those who dwell in a loneliness so terrible that it has withered their hearts, for those who hate because they have no recognition of the destiny they share with all humanity, for those who would squander their lives in self-pity and in self-destruction because they have lost the saving wisdom with which they were born, for all these and many more, hope waits in the dreams of a dog, where the sacred nature of life may be clearly experienced without the all but blinding filter of human need, desire, greed, envy, and endless fear. And here, in dream woods and fields, along the shores of dream seas, with a profound awareness of the playful Presence abiding in all things, [there is One who has always loved you]." - Dean Koontz, One Door Away From Heaven

Furgot to write about my adventure at the shack last weekend! Dad and I were headin' back to the parking lot after being out at the lake (you have to wlak down a trail to get to the shack). The trail goes by the channel, which is a swampy, muddy mess. Well, as we were walking, I saw movement in the bushes. So, of course, I took off to investigate.
Dad heard me growling and barking and snarling, so he went to have a look at what I had found - it was a SNAPPING TURTLE about the size of a manhole cover!!!!! Pretty scary stuff, dudes. Anywho, I barked and attacked and fought and the beast retreated into the water - back into the depths from which it came.
