In September of 2000 we had lost our mixed breed rescue Lucky Charm to cancer. i work at a vet that does spays/neuters for a rescue organization. In November of that year they came in to drop off a dog to be spayed. As i came around the desk to take her...i saw she had our Lucky Charms face!!! i immediately said i would adopt her and took her home after she had her surgery. Of course we HAD to name her Lucky Face!
Bio:
Our original Lucky Charm was found in Brooklyn, NY---while our latest Lucky Face was taken out of a shelter (days before she would have been euthanized) in NY! It was obviously meant to be!
