Pedigree-she likes table scaps too but she is not a beggar. She eats what you give her.

Arrival Story:
We were on a motorcycle ride when we went to visit a confederate cemetary. Dixie walked up to us so happy and spry. She laid on the ground and opened her belly to us. It was awful, she was crawling with ticks and fleas! At one point she took off toward the woods and I followed her. She went to get some water but she was drinking mud because she didn't have anything else to drink. It was awful. She was so sweet though. My husband went to call our friend to come and pick herup. We were an hour from our house. Our friend came and picked her up and took her to our house. After taking her to the vet we found out she had every worm known to man, mange, and she was extremely malnourished. The vet said if we wouldn't have saved her she would have died within the next few days. Well it is three years later and she is always all of our visitors favorite dog because she is so sweet.
