I do sit, down, and stay, though I tend to get easily distracted. Grandma is taking me to school right now to try to teach me to be a better listener.
Bio:
I was diagnosed at 4 months with a congenital kidney defect. Mom had been worried about me ever since she brought me home at 6 weeks because I would drink tons of water, but I never wanted to eat. As I got older, I had a really hard time not having accidents because I had to go potty every 1-2 hrs. mom got really worried and I had to go through a lot of tests. Finally the doctor found out that my kidneys never formed completely, and he told Mom that I might not even it make it to my 1st birthday. Mom was really sad, but she spent lots of time with me...forcing me to eat my "old dog" kidney food, giving me medicine, and setting up a doggy bathroom on the balcony so I could go out more frequently without having to make the long walk to the elevator and outside (we lived in the city). My mom really loves me, but I moved in with my Grandma in October because the breeder gave my mom a new puppy and having 2 active pups were too much for her. Even though I miss my mom a ton, I have a great time at Grandma's big house; I have a huge yard to run in, a lake to watch the geese and ducks, and lots more trouble I can get into. I'm now well over a year old, and I'm still doing well...take that you doctors! :)
