Arrival Story:
About a year after we bought our house we decided it was time to get a dog. We originally tried to adopt a dog from a shelter but were unsuccessful as the application asked if the dog would be kept inside or outside. On the first application we stated he would be kept inside and were turned down because they didn't give dogs to people who were going to keep them inside all day. On our second attempt with another shelter, we stated we would keep him outside and were turned down because they didn't want to give a dog to anyone who was going to keep it outside all day. So, we went to the local pet shop and looked at the dogs there. As soon as we saw Jack, we asked to have him taken out of the cage so we could play with him a little bit. Well, that was "it" for us. We fell head over heals in love with him and took him home that day.
