Likes: he loves to howl with his pack (mom, dad and sister Ragtime),going for a walk, chasing the ball, sleeping on mom's featherbed
Pet-Peeves: trims of any kind, brushing, no walk
Favorite Toy: ball, his sister Ragtime"s neck
Favorite Food: liver muffins (mom makes them)
Favorite Walk: riverwalk, anywhere mom thinks I can be safe off leash
Best Tricks: What tricks? seriously -I can talk, sing, shake a paw, and talk like a turkey
Arrival Story: We had lost our male Westie "Duffy" and his soul-mate "Cassie" was now 14 and all alone. I met a new gal in town who happened to breed Cairns and happened to have a litter and voila! Murphy came into our lives.
Bio: Murphy did well with elderly Cassie...didn't plague her like most pups would have done...he got his championship like a good boy and after Cassie left us for doggie heaven, his sister Ragtime came to keep him company and on his toes. (generally, she keeps him on his back and is biting his ruff or ears or anything she can get her teeth into.)
Forums Motto:
OK, OK....I've only done this a few times....it gets lame after a while but you know the drill, choose 5 other doggies and pass them a ball and then write 5 things about yourself in your diary..I chose:
Postal, Rowdy, Geordie, Peanut and Canuck
1) I love Samantha Cairn who lives in Washington (all too far away)
2) I can talk like a turkey! (sometimes I am a turkey...mom says)
3) I don't share bones with ANYPUP!
4) Mom and I sing duets everyday.
5) Off -leash is the BEST!
For the pups beyond the Rainbow Bridge,
We bow our heads, we shed some tears,
We know that nothing can take the place
Of the furry pals we loved so dear.
And even as the years go by,
A remembered nudge, a lick, a sigh
An old photograph will bring them back,
And tears will fall from many an eye.
We thank the good Lord up above,
For your doggy smile and unconditional love
The way you felt within our arms,
Your bark, your whine, your many charms.
We thank Him for your listening ear
The warmth of your body when you pressed it near.
Is it so surprising really, that you are called DOG.
You're a pretty good reflection of the love of our GOD.
For the pups beyond the Rainbow Bridge,
A voice is heard at bridge's end.
"Well done, true and faithful friend."
Your job and journey is completed on earth.
Play in the flowerfields, bask in the sun...
Chase with your pals and have great fun.
But keep your ears cocked while you're chewing that bone
You'll hear familiar footsteps---your human's come home.
