WHO is giving me all the lovely bones?
Please confess, whoever you are.
My people can't stand it anymore. MtheP is developing bone anxiety.
It's getting so bad, the bones have become a political issue!!
Personally, I don't care so much about the bones.
I would rather tell you about the athletic event I bravely completed. (Oh no, it wasn't the chihuahua races).
I went for a walk with MtheP and Larry the other day.... maybe last Tuesday.. and we took our regular path to the so called San Elijo Lagoon, which is really a mud hole and it stinks real good. (You can google that if you want to).
We took the dirt road and we didn't stop. I was so busy sniffing and zig zagging down the road, I didn't really notice anything different at first.. but...... MtheP started going up hill and we never go up hill.
Larry said, " Miss B what's happening? We don't go up hill do we?"
About when I was going to water the rock on the side of the trial, MtheP went into a concrete ditch and asked us to follow. No prob, we are dogs and we don't think ahead much unless it is for dinner.
There I am, in the concrete ditch, and I can't climb up the other side! It is too steep for me. It is too steep even for Larry who is getting a little nervous because he is high strung and edgy.
MtheP spoke her magic and then she lifted us up on some rocks and climbed out of the ditch after us. WOW! What a nasty rocky place. Not a plant within walking distance.
I looked up with my most sincere Princess look, and we were picked up and carried over stinky huge pieces of metal and wood (railroad tracks) and MtheP gently put is down in some nice sand with some nearby plants.
Then we walked again. We walked across the sand to a sidewalk. And then we walked over a bridge. On the bridge we met some people who called us "scaredy dogs - scaredy dogs". MtheP told them we were scaredy dogs so they would not touch us. I was glad of that, but by this time I was tired of walking.
Then we had to walk up a street and turn to our street and walk all the way home. I thought the father was going to pick us all up at the corner, but he didn't.
Our walk was a mile and a half and it was really far and there was so much to see and at the end I didn't even want to sniff.
I just put my ears back and walked. One tiny paw in front of the other all the way home on the dirty street without shoes and without water.
After my event, I slept until dinner.
I wasn't even sore. That was pretty athletic.

rain is bad.
the couch is good.
Yesterday, we went for a walk and it started to rain. This is a disaster. I looked up at the only person in the world who truly understands me and said, "Why did you bring me out in this **ing rain?"
She picked me up and held me under her jacket and we went back home.
So now who is the boss? Huh? Huh?

i just love the smell of the BBQ. It's better than an old stinky worm.
