Arrival Story:
I brought Lincoln home on Sunday 1/7/07. He was living in another foster home where he was getting lots of play in the yard with other dogs, but the foster mom wasn't able to take him for daily walks. He is a very anxious little dog and he doesn't show well at Petsmart so our thought was that he might need some very structured, routine type of exercise. Constant play and squeaky toys for an overly excited and anxious dog might not be the best idea. So Lincoln is my new "project," even though I still have my other projects, Sage and Sara. I try to get him on daily walks but when it's been too cold (which it has been lately in Salt Lake City), I have him work out on the treadmill. He adjusted quickly and does well. He'll be shown at Petsmart again this weekend so we'll see if his two weeks with me have made any difference!

Bio:
Lincoln was adopted on Sunday 2/25/07! He apparently had a rough first night but his new mom sent me an email the next day and said she "came home to a different dog" and he was wagging his tail. Good boy, Lincoln.
