She was actually the kind of dog I always wanted because my family always had Dachshunds, but the standard variety. My guardian as a child was a black and tan longhaired Dachsie. Being that I am a groomer and have a private sanctuary with my husband were we take in dogs and cats that have behavioral and or medical issues and cannot be adopted out anymore....I wanted to have an easy to groom small and funloving, energetic dog!
I had already gotten a Mini Chocolate Shorthair Dachsie and so Annie was the perfect match as a playbuddy and companion for Waldi AND for me! Bio: "Mandy" is a song that my husband likes to sing to Annie when they are cuddeling. Of corse he is singing ANNIE instead if Mandy. He has really taken a great love towards Dachshunds that he did not know that he had.
