Summer is Over

Hi everyone, summer is almost over and I have to tell you I am looking foward to the cooler weather. This heat really gets to me. Mom and Dad know that I don't like it , I just lay around like a lazy dog and that's not my style. So much has been going on. I am still training in Schutzhund and I must say I am doing very well. I am heeling on and off leash better than ever. Mommy and Daddy try to trick me so i can mess up but they can't. I am also sitting, downing, and coming from long distances with distractions. I love training, it has brought me closer to my parents, I follow them like a shadow. Mommy and Daddy are very proud of how smart I am. I just hope I can be as good as the older Schutzhund dogs. Oh yeah I am now 30 inch and 86 lbs, and I feel great. Hope to talk soon.

Work, work, work!

Hi doggies!! Oh my gosh-I am getting too big for my own good-I am now 29" and 78 lbs. Everyone is scared of me but I don't know why. When I walk down the street with Mommy and Daddy, everyone crosses to the other side. Little do they know I am nice and friendly! This weekend was kind of hot but I went hiking with Mommy and Daddy. I love hiking cuz I get to run around in freedom and I lead the way! I also LOVE to bark in my backyard so everyone knows this is MY house and they can't come too close without permission. My neighbors next door are always outside drinking it up so I have to keep them in line. But I like doing my job and letting Mommy and Daddy know what's going on around our house. I've also began Schutzhund training. Daddy says it is like me getting my Masters Degree so I can be really smart!! Bye bye for now, I gotta go get my sleep so I can wake everbody up at 5am!!

Hi Everyone

Hi you all I'm back just to say hi to all my doggzs. Well to start I have to tell you that I don't look like a wimpy puppy no more. I get respect at the dog park now from all the other doggies but I don't use my size to be a bully. I am now 7 months old and measure 27.5 inches at the shoulders and weight 72 lbs. Mommy and daddy are so excited on how I am becoming such a strong boy. I now know several commands very well such as sit, stay, come, down, down stay, sit stay, handshake, and walking at heel. I also know sit, stay, down, down stay, and sit stay from off leash, with distractions. Mommy and Daddy are always training me so i'm sure I will learn more. Mommy and daddy are also so happy that I am becoming a true Dobe and very protective of my home and owners, but I'm am still a sweetheart when friendly people come up to me. Well gotta go for now. VACATION!!!!!

Woof! We just came back from vacation. We went to North Carolina (or at least I think that's what Mommy and Daddy said.) It was such a longggg ride in the car. I thought we were going to the dog park but it took FOREVERRRRR-I was wondering if we would ever get there! But when we finally did it was worth it. I was free in the mountains to run around and my cousin, Gemini, was there. You can see us in my new pictures playing around (well, really me attacking him!) We went hiking, and into a creek and I felt like a KING! I hope we get to go back there soon. But for now I am back at home and playing in my neighborhood dog parks! And finally the weather is getting warm (cause you all know how I HATE the cold!!) Well, bye for now!!

A Dog's Life

Wat up dogs? I had such a busy day today. First, Mommy and Daddy took me for a long walk this morning (after I woke them at my usual 6:15am). Then I was out in the yard chewing on my dinosaur bone. I don't know if it's from a real dinosaur but it's bigger than me!! I've been chewing it for a couple of weeks already and haven't even made a dent in it. Then Mommy and Daddy took me to Eagle Rock reservation and we walked on this really muddy trail-whoopeeeeee! I LOVE the mud!! They even let me off the leash for once-I guess I'm finally earning their trust-hehehehe. Watch out! I couldn't even keep my eyes open in the car on the way back. Finally, we stopped at Petco and I got my picture taken with the Easter Bunny. I didn't really want to but it was for a good cause-it was to help homeless animals-so I figured what the heck. (Even though the 6 ft. tall bunny kinda scared me!) So now I'm going to pass out on my nice comfy bed. I had such a fun day!! Until next time freunde (friends)!

Spring is in the air :)

hi again just wanted to check in with everyone. i'm happy that the weather is finally breaking. i was at the park today playing with the other doggies. i luv to play and i wish daddy would leave me in the park all day. i dont know why im always so hungry but daddy told me i'm now 58 lbs. i just know that this collar is getting to small for me. time for a new one dad. tty later

Happy Birthday to me

Hi everyone,

Yesterday was my birthday and I feel better than ever. I am now 5 months old. Mommy and Daddy took me to the dog park and I was rough housing with the bigger doggies. I love playing with the other dogs but I get mad when I don't win. Anyway daddy told me I was getting so big and strong. He said that I am now 54 lbs and 23 inches tall at the shoulders. Guess it is because mommy and daddy feed me such healthy food. It's a little hard to eat now cause all my teeth are falling out, but I like my new pearly whites that are growing in. I just hope that I can take this silly brace off my ears already, it is really not helping me with the ladies. Anyway hope all my doggy buddies are doing well. Spring will be here soon enough.

Hallo

Hi everyone, how are my Tri-state dogs enjoying the artic blast we are having? I hate it personally. This thin skin was not made for the cold :(
I went to the vet yesterday. Woke up on weds morning and my eye was stuck shut and really itchy. I was totally freaked out and kept trying to scratch it. Daddy noticed me and took me to the vet. Vet told daddy that I had a mild case of conjuctivitis (pink eye) and gave me some drops. I'm feeling better now. By the way I weight 43 lbs now. Dr. said I had such a nice temperment. Well I was on my best behavior. I was trying to make my moves on the nurse with kisses. Valentines is coming soon. Think it worked :P . Anyway compadres keep warm, and I'll check in soon. My Life

Hi everyone, I'm new to this site so please bear with me. I'll tell you a little about myself. My name is Pharaoh. My parents named me that cause they say I look like a king :) I can remember the day I went home with mommy and daddy. It was Dec 10 2006, and I was playing with my brothers and sisters. I saw these two people looking at so many memebers of my family, and they finally got to me. I thought better play this cool, they won't be able to resist my good looks. Well it worked (humans are so easy to manipulate). I went home with them and have been living the life ever since. In return for all the love I get, I am a good doggy. I love to sleep on my parents laps. I know I'm getting big but I am still a baby. I love going to training class cause I play with all my friends and get to see my girlfriend Freia. I also love when when my parents take me to the dog park cause I get to play and wrestle with the big guys (they pick on me now but i'm growing fast). I don't know why people are afraid of me? I know I look tough but I'm just a marshmellow. Anyway gotta go for now, Im gonna get my beauty sleep. Adios (I speak spanish too)
