Arrival Story:
We decided we wanted a buddy for Bon and a friend had just had a litter of sibe puppies so we were in luck! The night Yukon came home...Bon was all excited and he ran right over Yukon with his tearing around. After that incident...they were glued to each others side everywhere we and they went.

Bio:
Yukon was the quieter, more laid back husky of the bunch. Bon and him were inseperable everywhere they went and everyone just loved their playful ways. ...yet they were always elegant in greeting new guests. Bon passed over to the rainbow bridge in Jan. of '05 and Yukon was not the same dog afterwards. By the end of the summer...he was really starting to get weak in his hindend and we could tell how uncomfortable he was as he would ever so gently be placing those paws on the ground. We started rymadyl but by January of '06 he was starting to wet his bedding. Took him in the first weekend of February and they gave him three types of medication to help with that and the pain. On Tuesday, Feb. 7th .... after both dogs were done with their nightly romping outside....Yukon let out a awful cry and would not stop. He could no longer support his weight and his hindend gave out and unless he kept moving...he wasn't able to get up. We had to wait an hour for our vet to get back from another town and had to say out goodbye's. I still remember how Yukon's face light up when I told him he would be seeing Bon very soon. It was so hard to lose both these boys ... barely within a year from each other. I miss you so much, Yukon!
