Sun Sign:
Quick Bio:
-purebred

Birthday:
August 6th 2006

Likes:
Chasing laser pointers and removing the poly-fil from plush toys! Also starting to like cuddling up on the couch and belly rubs!

Pet-Peeves:
Dogs who try to step on him, anything that moves air (hairdryers, vacuum cleaners, fans, clothes dryers, the wind), having his feet touched, ESPECIALLY with those scary nail clippers! A bit scared of hot ovens and hot cars.. a problem here in AZ!

Favorite Toy:
Tug with Nylabone teething keys! Also loves stinky chew hooves and any ball he can get stuck under/behind furniture. Just recently he got an Udder Tug (FUN!!) and a Tug-a-Jug toy (ALSO FUN!!).

Favorite Food:
ICE CUBES! Also, greenies, baby carrots and liver paste.

Favorite Walk:
Wherever Mummy is going.

Best Tricks:
He can get 100 cubic inches of poly-fill through a 3/4 inch diameter hole and putting all 31 pounds of force he can muster on your clavicle.

Arrival Story:
Buster came from a breeder in South Dakota to the hot and dry southwest. Luckily, he was born in late summer and arrived in the Sonoran desert in October -- just after the real heat had finally let up. Unfortunately, it's getting *very* hot here again and the poor little guy doesn't know what he's in for! His mommy and daddy are both from Pennsylvania and are prepared for but dreading the heat after 6 years of living in the desert.

Bio:
Buster has finally graduated Intermediate Obedience! Well, "graduated" in the loosest sense of the word. He has always done quite well with heeling, even off leash and with some distractions. (Something about not wanting to be more than a couple of feet away from Mummy.) He also managed to master "stand" in about 2 weeks. However, the word "stay" is not understood in his little brain. (That thing about not wanting to be more than a couple feet away from Mummy comes up again.) Hopefully we'll start Agility later in the summer and may even attend the Rattlesnake avoidance class, even though both Mummy and Daddy are too lazy to go hiking in the heat.
